Group Work - Group A

 This is print screen of me editing the video for our group (A). The song Choice for the group was "a day in the life" by the Beatles and for the people in the video there is two of my fellow members Daniel Arnold , Danny Williamson and for the other two is two members of group b also actors in our video Boj and Owen.

For this print screen i am trying to edit the video in a specific way so that in the video there is multiple versions of Daniel (group a member) and Boj (actor). However with the video we have and the limitation this wasn't possible to edit the way i want so i had to improvise and make it so everything was off and fade the video. So when he two videos came together it looked all weird , psychedelic and also to match the song lyrics because in that part of the song the lyrics say i went in to a dream and so it makes it because it looks similar to a dream. 

So for this one its just me trying to edit the lip singing by Daniel and because of how Daniel had lip synced and not made his words clear it was hard to edit but not impossible and as i found that one sentence i was able to match a lot of it up and sync it probably 

This is from a looking down shot of Danny pretending to play the guitar and lip sync to the music in the background and so again it was hard for me to edit as Danny  was also off sync so when editing for the final version i just manged to make it as close as possible but getting it on sync was to difficult 

so this is again another shot of Danny lip syncing to the same part but with a body shot and him singing to the camera this time and this is just for variety and to give the us more shots to work with. 

this is the ending of the video and for this what i intended for it was to have the Danny and Daniel of the right walk in time with the first shot so that i could fade them out like them fading from a dream but it didn't really work out that well and so we got this shot and it worked a bit 

For this shot what i wanted to do was try and do a shot where we have that one person in the shot and multiply them so there would be 3-5 different poses of that one actor but all in one shot and i got inspiration from the kpop band called I.O.I and there song "Very Very very" because in the song they do a lot of different shots and techniques  and so i wanted to try and recreate that for our video, but that didn't really work out as i made the mistake of not properly searching how to do this and so when editing i messed around with it and got that result and it worked out quite alright.

So for this shot we tried to recreate a similar scene with a are own twist and the scene was from the Beatles music video "strawberry fields" and so when doing this scene it looked ok because of the leaves on the floor and the camera position however the scene didn't turn out how we envisioned it and instead of scrape the video we decided to use it and try and make it work
